MIDPOINT Intensive will be held as part of this year\u2019s Zagreb Film Festival (4 \u2013 10 November 2024).<\/p>\n<p>As part of the workshop, the teams will work on the creative development of the script. The workshop consists of group work in small groups and individual consultations with an experienced script doctor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHO:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creative teams consisting of producer, director and\/or screenwriter with a short fiction film project in development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DATE AND PLACE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Workshop: 5 \u2013 8 November 2024<\/li>\n<li>Location: Zagreb<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>LANGUAGE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The working language of the workshop is English, so a sound knowledge of English is a key prerequisite for participation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>FEE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The workshop is free of charge for all participants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Workshop training as well as breaks (coffee, lunch) during the workshop are covered by the organiser.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>APPLICATION MATERIALS (in English):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Author\u2019s motivation (0.5-1 pages)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Description of the author\u2019s approach to the story and topic:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At what stage is the story development and what needs to be fine-tuned?<\/li>\n<li>Who are the main characters and why are they interesting to you?<\/li>\n<li>How do you imagine the visual style of the film?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>5. Preliminary financing plan (in Excel document)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>6. Producer\u2019s statement (0.5-1 pages)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The producer\u2019s approach to the project:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What is the total budget of the project and how do you plan to finance it?<\/li>\n<li>What is your co-production strategy?<\/li>\n<li>At what stage is the project and what are your development needs?<\/li>\n<li>What are your ideas about the project\u2019s distribution?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>7. Production house profile (max. <\/strong><strong>1000 characters)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Short professional biographies of all team members (max. <\/strong><strong>1000 characters per bio)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>9. Photographs of all team members<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>10.
